Conventional health professionals

Conventional coaches, life coaches, health counselors, psychologists, therapists, doctors, and psychiatrists

The people who are supposed to help us cause us harm. Conventional health professionals are these people — and that includes coaches, life coaches, health counselors, psychologists, therapists, doctors, and psychiatrists. Pursuing health, happiness, or well-being with them produces ill-being — and in many cases leads to the manifestation of new health conditions and disease.

They commit behavioral crimes. They do not stab us with knives. They stab us with behaviors. Toxic behaviors. Some examples include competing, being dishonest, pretending, manipulating, being indirect, and working hard on looking good to appear flawless to the world.

Conventional health professionals want us to fail in life and do unwell. Why is that so? They compete. Competing entails a continuous two-step process: seeking acknowledgment from others for being or having the most or best of something, while preventing others from doing well — ensuring that they have less than ourselves. All of that in order to validate one's human existence.

Therapists, psychologists, and coaches do not address their clients' real problems because that would make them look bad and risk losing them as clients. Instead they cater to their wishes and desires, pretending to be genuinely interested and kind — polishing a flawless image of themselves to attract followers and clients. They need to be the center of attention — seeking acknowledgment, admiration, and validation to feel whole — instead of genuinely helping. They foster dependency — keeping us hooked to their services to maximize profits and feel superior — instead of offering temporary guidance to become self-sufficient. They do not embody what they teach — their teachings are based on theories, not real-life experiences. And their teachings are filtered through selfishness — the need for acknowledgment, validation, and profit — rendering them useless.

The path to success in achieving well-being, health, and happiness is working with someone who overcame what we are going through — the struggle to feel better, get healthier, and become happier — and who embodies these values. The problem is that conventional health professionals never overcame these struggles themselves — they are fighting the same battles we are — and on top of that, they do not embody health, well-being, and happiness because they are unhealthy, feel unwell, and are unhappy. They do what they do not to help us — but to fulfill their self-centered and egocentric desires of seeking acknowledgment, admiration, popularity, and attention — all in order to validate their human existence.

Feeling better episode 10 – Avoiding conventional health professionals produces well-being

Working with conventional health professionals feels like watching a bad movie, where the teachings meant to help us keep getting interrupted by commercials in which they are the stars — rendering these teachings useless. Whether they speak or write books, most of it is superficial fluff. We struggle to progress because everything they do is colored by their desperate need to be the center of attention and be acknowledged.

Let us look at one of their manipulation tactics. Conventional health professionals work hard on polishing a flawless image of themselves to look good to the world — while pretending to be genuine and kind in order to attract followers and clients. One tactic they use involves employing the pronoun "you" to flatter the listener's or reader's ego — all while pretending to be genuine and kind. The goal is to formulate messages that feel personal — making us feel special, important, cared for, and even loved. They exploit our vulnerabilities, knowing that most of us lack unconditional acceptance and encouragement for our daily achievements and personal growth efforts. After all — is it common for our loved ones to sincerely pay attention to these matters?
